Originally from
Carlisle, England, Brenda (nee Maguire) has been in Canada and working with The Faith
Mission since June 1995. She accepted the Lord as her Saviour at the
Keswick Convention in 1984 but struggled to let God have all of her
life. It was during a local mission run by The Faith Mission that
Brenda surrendered all to God and said that it was "all or
nothing."
Brenda
attended Sheffield Hallam University
and The Faith Mission Bible College in Edinburgh, Scotland before joining
the F.M. in the United Kingdom. Brenda married
Mr. Jeffrey Thiessen on October 26, 2002. She continued her studies by correspondence and
became a Master of Arts in Biblical Studies in 2007.
Jeff is originally from the Niagara Region
and is currently a student at Emmanuel Bible College in Kitchener and
works for a national men's ministry in an administrative capacity. He enjoys the opportunity to work along side Brenda
during the summer and when time allows. Their son James was born in
March, 2006.
