About the Thiessens:

Originally from Carlisle, England, Brenda (nee Maguire) has been in Canada and working with The Faith Mission here since June 1995. She accepted the Lord as her Saviour at the Keswick Convention in 1984 but struggled to let God have all of her life. It was during a local mission run by The Faith Mission that Brenda surrendered all to God and said that it was "all or nothing."

Brenda attended Sheffield Hallam University and The Faith Mission Bible College in Edinburgh, Scotland before joining The Faith Mission in the United Kingdom working mainly in the Anglo-Scottish Border District. Brenda married Jeff Thiessen in October 2002 and continued her studies by correspondence and became a Master of Arts in Biblical Studies in 2007.

Jeff is originally from the Niagara Region and currently works for Promise Keepers Canada as a part of the Admin Team. He enjoys the opportunity to work along side Brenda during the summer and when time allows. Their son James was born in March, 2006.
