Originally from Montréal, Jen Moldovan moved with her family to Oakville,
Ontario shortly before graduating from high school. She continued her
studies at Heritage College & Seminary in Cambridge having accepted
Christ at the age of 8. She became aware of The Faith Mission (in
Canada) through John & Isabel Bennett, as they attended the same church
in Oakville, and got involved through camp and summer work. Jennifer
joined full-time and was in Napanee from February 2004 to December
2006.
After several successful summers of reaching
into Québec with Vacation Bible School programs, Jen, along with Debra
Hewitt, started full-time Faith Mission work in the Montréal area
in October 2007.
Debra was born in a rural town in north
eastern Ontario, where she was raised in a Christian home. Debra was
saved at a young age. When she was a teenager, a few summers were
spent working with the Mission doing camps and VBS's throughout Ontario.
After high school, Debra attended Briercrest Bible College in Caronport,
Saskatchewan. For the past few years Debra have been serving God in
her hometown, working at various jobs and serving in her home church,
knowing all the while that God was soon to call her away from home.
This past summer as she continued to seek God's direction, He clearly led
Debra to the Faith Mission and to the work here in Quebec.
"Being confident of this, that He
who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion
until the day of Christ Jesus." Philippians 1:6
