Summer Camps 2010

Locations: Summer Camps will be held at the Faith Mission Centres in Falkland and Campbellville respectively.

Bible Teaching: Teaching from the Bible is an integral part of our daily routine at camp. The teaching is inspiring and relevant and is communicated in a way that is understandable and applicable.

Music: We use the medium of music and relevant songs to reinforce the teaching of the Bible.

Recreation: A vital part of our program, we seek to ensure that campers interact through the means of sports and games. Both centres have a swimming pool and a games room on site.

Camp Staff: Faith Mission staff with years of training and experience are responsible for the camp program. Each member of staff and volunteer comes with a burden to reach children for Christ. In addition, we require our volunteers to provide a letter of reference from their pastor or Christian leader. To comply with current insurance regulations, each member of staff is required to provide a current police check to ensure the safety and welfare of our campers.

Camp Nurse: Should a camper require daily medication or is involved in the unlikely event of an accident, we ensure that each camp has a resident individual to assist us with the administration of medication or minor medical emergencies.

Come Prepared! Make sure that campers bring the following:

• sleeping bag and pillow

• Bible, notebook & pen

• towel & toiletries

• flashlight

• appropriate swimwear

• indoor shoes/slippers (BC camps)

• Do not bring: cellphones, knives, electronic devices & non-prescription drugs - these items will be confiscated until the conclusion of camp

The safety and welfare of the campers is a priority during camp.  Although we cannot ensure that accidents will not happen, we will do our utmost to keep your child(ren) accident free.

Camp Fee: $140.00 ($20 non-refundable deposit required) Please note that Fee is $85.00 for Adventure Camp only!

Tuck Shop: $15.00 ($7.00 for Adventure Camp) allowed for purchases of "goodies"

Camp Fee: $155.00 for Discovery Camps and $165.00 for Teen Adventure Camp ($40 non-refundable deposit required)

Canteen: Allowance for snacks and a t-shirt is included in registration fee - please mark size of shirt required on registration form

Cost: $250.00 per family (Mother & Father and up to 3 children; for each additional child there is a nominal fee of $25.00 per child)

In addition to our main accommodation block we are also offering 85 RV & Trailer sites complete with hook-ups (Please note there is no reduction in price if you use the RV & Trailer sites).

To reserve your place we require a $100.00 registration fee. Registrations necessary on or before Monday Aug 2nd, 2010, with the balance due upon arrival at Family Camp.
