About the Spences:

Brian and Julieanne are both from Lisburn, Northern Ireland. They have three children, Rebekah, Nathan and Aaron. Julieanne was saved at the age of five. At the age of eight Julieanne and her family moved to Perth, Scotland. Before attending The Faith Mission Bible College, Julieanne was active in youth work and was perusing a career in nursing. However the call of God changed all her plans and the rest, as they say, is history.

Brian was saved as a teenager and was deeply impacted by The Faith Mission ministry in the U.K. It was while attending the Faith Mission Easter convention in Bangor, Northern Ireland that he fully surrendered to the will of God. After several years working in construction Brian entered The Faith Mission Bible College to prepare for a life of ministry. Brian and Julieanne were married in September 1989.

After serving with The Mission in the UK and Ireland, the LORD reminded the Spence's of the call to work with The Faith Mission in Canada; a call that was birthed in both their hearts long before they ever met. The LORD began to stir the nest and confirmed and sealed this call by His Word. The Spence family immigrated to Canada in the summer of 1993 were they commenced ministry with the Mission in the Niagara Peninsula.

After several years with The Mission, the LORD directed Brian into the pastorate. Five years and two congregations later the LORD began to stir the nest again and directed us back into the work of The Faith Mission. In May 2002 we packed all our earthly belongings and started the long drive west to British Columbia.  In 2007, Brian was appointed Regional Director of the work in British Columbia.
